Aditi Velankar

Aditi Velankar moved to the US in 2003 from Mumbai to pursue her Master’s degree (Health Sciences) and has lived and worked in Texas, Indiana, Massachusetts, and Minnesota. Aditi has been a resident of MN since 2015. She lives in Shoreview with her husband, middle school-aged son and daughter, and a 2.5-year-old, sweet, and energetic Golden retriever named Cookie. She is a Physical Therapist and practices at the HealthPartners Neuroscience Center. She is deeply interested in Health and Wellness, and to deepen her expertise in caring for her patients, she underwent Yoga teacher Training. She shares her love for travel with her family, and when not actually travelling, she enjoys cooking and experimenting with cuisines, recipes, and ingredients. And come spring she can be found gardening, growing various flowers, herbs, and vegetables. She and her family have been Part of SILC since 2019, where she currently learns Dance and teaches yoga. She believes in the power of the collective good and wishes to give back to her community and society at large. She thrives on building connections that uplift others and herself.
